On Thursday January 18th a large group of members and classics of Dutch Mountains gathered at De Haselderhof in Valkenburg for the annual New Year’s Dinner. Everyone was dressed up in fancy dresses and suits to enjoy a delicious three course menu and a good glass of wine. We would like to thank De Haselderhof for the lovely evening!

The members of the Maastricht Student Mountain- and Roadbiking Association the Dutch Mountains have accepted the challenge again to cycle from beautiful Maastricht to the Glass House of Serious Request. Over the years they have cycled to Enschede, Leeuwarden, Haarlem and last year Breda. This year the DM’ers will bike to the Glass House in Apeldoorn on the 23rd of December, which is a tour of about 190 kms. They will all be doing this to help 3FM Serious Request reunite families. Last weekend Dutch Mountains went to Moelingen, which is a village just across the border to enjoy a weekend that was, for once,  all about other things than cycling. Of course, board games, loud chatter and the traditional cantus could not be missed. However, it was the CRAZY 88 that showed the winner’s mentality of our members, and the game provided us with some memorable pictures.
