Last Saturday DM went to the studentscup of Eindhoven, the GP Squadra Veloce. Ruben, Charlie, Frank and Jannes participated in the men’s non-license race and Jannes got a 3rd place. In the women’s race SophieVon was close to the victory, but in the sprint she finished 2nd. Lars was close to the podium in the men’s license race, but he finished 5th. Unfortunately no victory for DM, despite it was a successful day!
On 10th and 11th June the Big Dutch Students Championship (GNSK) took place in Eindhoven. During those two days there were different races to score points for a team classification. On Saturday there was a prologue and a team sprint. The next day there was a team time trial and a race. The women’s team (Lotte, Sophie, Maud, Ires and Ella) and the men’s team (Robbin, Dennis, Yoram, Ruben and Jannes) finished both on the 4th place. Unfortunately they both missed the podium, but there were podium places during the different races. The women’s team finished 3rd in the team sprint and Robbin won the race on Sunday.
After the first three rounds in the clubcompetition both categories will still have some exciting races in the next rounds. In the men’s category Praesis Lars is leading with only a few points and in the women’s category Lotte is leading with an advantage of only one point over Ella!
